“Creation is a solitary idea, but collaboration is what makes it come alive.” — Agnès Varda

About Virginia

Born in Newark, NJ and now based in Los Angeles, Virginia Lee is a writer, director, and producer telling the stories that don’t wait to be invited. She champions inclusive storytelling, bold female leads, people of color, and the voices the industry keeps overlooking — putting the stories that matter on screen across film, TV, and web series. As the founder of Masquerade Ball Productions, LLC, she is committed to giving emerging creatives the platform they deserve.

The camera is her tool. The story is her purpose. She’s not building a career — she’s building a movement.

About Masquerade Ball

Masquerade Ball Productions is a woman-owned independent production company dedicated to telling bold, emotionally resonant stories that refuse to stay hidden.

We center strong female leads and storytellers of color — not as an afterthought, but as the driving force of our narratives. Our work lives where genre and emotion collide: psychological thrillers, supernatural stories, and deeply human, emotionally charged dramas. Each project is designed to challenge perception, spark conversation, and leave a lasting imprint.

We believe stories are most powerful when they are fearless — when they unmask truth, confront darkness, and illuminate what it means to be human. At Masquerade Ball Productions, we are committed to creating space for emerging voices, fostering collaboration, and building a creative community where imagination leads and authenticity takes center stage.

Every story wears a mask. We reveal what’s underneath.
