CASE SUMMARY

Shadows on the Wall is a psychological horror short film that follows Sierra Peterson, a young woman fighting to survive both the darkness closing in around her and the truths no one believes.

As reality begins to fracture, Sierra is forced to confront the shadows others refuse to see-and the ones she’s been told are only in her mind.

Shadows on the Wall began as a class assignment, grew into a passion project, and stayed with me for years.

Through psychological and supernatural horror, I wanted to explore the will and strength of a woman fighting for both her survival and her sanity. The monsters in this story are terrifying, but they also represent the unseen forces that silence, control, and isolate people who are already struggling to be heard.

Sierra’s journey is a fight for survival. It’s about reclaiming your voice, trusting your instincts, and refusing to let others define your truth.

As a filmmaker, I’m drawn to stories that give voice to people whose experiences are often dismissed or misunderstood, and Shadows on the Wall is an extension of that commitment.

My goal is to create a film that is unsettling, emotionally honest, and visually immersive—a story that lingers long after the credits roll.
